Franklin Graham wrote a wonderful article about praying for America! He started his article by saying…“Taking a stand for our country begins by going to our knees in prayer before Almighty God.” I absolutely agree with him. Yet, so many Christians need a daily reminder to pray. How often have we all (including myself) been inspired to pray for a special issue but we were overloaded with life and simply forgot? A Tsunami Wave of Grief Nine ways to heal by Debbie Jansen I thought our Tsunami Wave of Grief had subsided. I felt a sense of relief that maybe – just maybe – we had survived the death of over 55 wonderful friends and family members within a mere six years. We feel blessed to know that the people we lost are celebrating in Heaven. We feel fortunate that all but 7 were older when they passed. We have many memories that cause us to smile. Yet, the weight on our chest grows when we realize they won’t call, they can’t come over, and we can’t meet for the holidays.
A Canopy of Swords
I wish my topic today was as happy as this wedding picture. America needs our help. America is being attacked by powers in this dark world. Notice the Saber Arch (Canopy of Swords) in this picture. My story for you today includes God’s War Angels and their Canopy of Swords. When we pray, God always listens. Unfortunately, if we don’t pray with a clear picture of the enemy we face, our prayers can be weak and without the power of the Holy Spirit. When we can see our enemy clearly, our prayers – God’s War Angels and His power are a billion times more powerful than anything we can imagine.

Just after Thanksgiving, I took Ron to the Emergency Room. We are so grateful that his sister Gloria insisted that he was in trouble and should go. After a quick evaluation, ER admitted him to the hospital. Later they discovered not only did he have Covid lungs, he was so bad the doctors had nothing positive to say about his condition.
