How do you eat a dinosaur? One bite at a time. He will surely taste better if you are being paid one million dollars. Trump Voters – Don’t be a Christian Jerk!
Christians and all Trump voters, if Jesus materialized in front of you today, what would he say? I believe a tear would roll down his cheek. He would take your hand and beg you to be compassionate. He would ask you to think of His children on the other side of the aisle. Think for a moment how you (all) Trump voters felt yesterday morning and up until about 10PM. Vote with confidence – The Church is still Alive!
As I finished praying this morning, I wondered what I could say that would give you peace and encouragement as you go vote today. An old song began to play in my head. When I tried to write, the music in my head seemed to drown out any other thoughts. Maybe….just maybe….God wants you to feel empowered today. Maybe He wants to encourage you that no matter what happens – there will always be a Triumphant Church. And you can be part of that church. We aren’t called to hang our heads and be discouraged victims. We are called to stand tall and strong and face our trials triumphantly. Take

Cover the voting booth with Prayer
Are you terrified? Most of us will go to the voting booth tomorrow. If you have been reading these posts, you have prayed about our country and you want to vote so you can be part of God’s plan. Older people are like children. It’s hard for us to stay in bed when we’ve met our sleeping quota. Turning the clock back doesn’t matter. If we aren’t sleepy….we can’t sleep. I was up at 5:30 this morning. The thought of an extra hour of sleep felt great last night but then this morning….I couldn’t sleep. I made coffee and found a comfy place on the couch.
