Abortion Debate – Just sayin’
Just Sayin’ Honest, out-of-the-box, creative thinking questions….are the only path to the truth. There are a lot of lies floating around that confuse the “abortion” issue. For example, Those who feel abortion should be the law of the land, like to moan about the lives that will be lost if “abortion” is not available. The Truth is that “abortion” has always been available when doctors are sure the mother’s life is in danger. One of the best Christian women I ever knew had an abortion during the 1950’s when abortion was an evil word. Her pregnancy was in trouble. The baby wouldn’t survive a forced birth and the complications

This picture is a plaster molding of my parents hands as they prayed. It sits on the corner of my desk and reminds me of the way they taught me to pray. What a treasure! For the next month, I hope you will join me as we use prompts from my book – Praying for America and the Army of God. LET’S COVER AMERICA IN PRAYER! Our country needs change and a revival. Together we will make a difference. Over this week-end, I ask you to pray for yourself and your family. Before we reach out to others, let’s be sure we are stable and strong ourselves! There’s a wonderful

A Canopy of Swords
I wish my topic today was as happy as this wedding picture. America needs our help. America is being attacked by powers in this dark world. Notice the Saber Arch (Canopy of Swords) in this picture. My story for you today includes God’s War Angels and their Canopy of Swords. When we pray, God always listens. Unfortunately, if we don’t pray with a clear picture of the enemy we face, our prayers can be weak and without the power of the Holy Spirit. When we can see our enemy clearly, our prayers – God’s War Angels and His power are a billion times more powerful than anything we can imagine.

Breathe…Debbie, Breathe!
I need a big….long….deep…breath…..(and the sunset on the beach wouldn’t hurt either). My phone has been busy for six weeks. I thank God everyday that I can offer hope and logic to people who are afraid and hurting. Yet, after a while it feels like we all need a deep breath. Since last summer, writing deadlines, Covid, lockdowns, riots and ignorance about elections have caused a lot of stress. I’ve often had to walk out on my front porch, pace and take deep breaths followed by long sighs. I walk from one side of my porch to the other with my hands in the air calling out to

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! Enjoy these pictures from many years ago. The entire Jansen family was laughing as we tried to take family photos. We had to document that we were only dressed nice from the waist up. Of course, Jamie was the photographer. I hope it will give you a smile and a little joy in your heart. I pray that all of my friends and readers have a wonderful and prosperous year. I also pray that all Americans will be able to experience a peaceful and prosperous 2021. Please take time today and Count Your Blessings. Celebrate the fact that you’ve made it through 2020 and that God WILL

A Christian’s perspective on the Trump – Biden Debate
This cartoon was created by Dave Granlund of the Waynesboro Record Herald. Two days after the first Trump-Biden Debate (9/29/2020) I took several phone calls from discouraged Christians. Since we are facing another debate I thought the following information might be helpful. Did you feel the way my friends felt? “I couldn’t believe it. I wanted information and all I saw was anger and fighting.” “It was a rude, disgusting display of two men fussing about who was lying.” “I just turned it off and decided not to vote for either one. Yet, I’m worried about our country. What am I supposed to do, Debbie?” After they vented, I gave
