Over this week-end, I ask you to pray for yourself and your family. Before we reach out to others, let’s be sure we are stable and strong ourselves! There’s a wonderful story in Day One of Praying for America and the Army of God. It’s about Chief White Eagle and his struggle toward Salvation. He went to a revival alter 4 nights in a row to ask for salvation.  On the last night of the revival, the tall Indian walked to the front with his head down.  He stared at the alter as tears flowed slowly down his trembling cheeks.  He took a deep breath.  He gently took off his moccasins and stepped up on the altar, his head almost touching the ceiling.  His shoulders bent as he heaved and cried softly to God.  The preacher heard him say, “Chief Eagle understand.  You don’t want things.  You want  me.  You want all of me.  I surrender.  You can own Chief White Eagle.  I surrender all my life to you.”  With that, he stepped down and smiled the widest smile the preacher had ever seen.  Chief White Eagle was saved.  Chief White Eagle hugged the short preacher and lifted him off the ground.  “I’m ok now.  I join God’s tribe.”

We all need to continue to fight for a closer walk with the Savior.

Dear Jesus, I pray that you will strengthen every family, every church and every Christian in America. Give them a desire to be better and to work to make this country better. May we all share the message of your salvation and how wonderful life can be when we submit to you. Please give our country a great Revival that will bring many to you. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
